This recipe for a Pitaya Smoothie Bowl combines the amazing superfood pitaya with a ripe banana for a super simple, yet delicious and amazingly nutritious smoothie that has an earthy strawberry-raspberry taste. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 large ripe bananas
  • ~ 1/2 cup raw pitaya (~3.5 oz)
  • 1/2 hollowed out orange (optional, to be served in.)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place both ingredients in a blender and blend until thoroughly smooth.
  2. Pour into hollowed out orange, if desired. (as shown)
  3. Enjoy!
