Baggio Husidic was born in Velika Kladusa, Bosnia and has been playing soccer most of his life, following in the footsteps of his father. He first started playing organized soccer when his family moved to Hamburg, Germany, but really took off when they later moved to Chicago, where he joined Sockers FC, one of the best youth clubs in the country. After youth soccer, Baggio went on to play two and a half successful years at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and then signed with the Chicago FIRE for three years. His career then took him to Stockholm, Sweden, where he signed with Hammarby IF, one of the biggest clubs in Sweden and spent the next two years. Baggio now plays for the LA Galaxy and lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife, dog and cat, where he spends most of his non-soccer time on the beach and cooking.
Baggio also started Athlete In Full, a platform for athletes that focuses on everything from on field training to nutrition to collegiate recruitment.
